Hussar Collector Figurine

Tadeusz Wierzbicki has been hand-painting Winged Hussars for 50 years in a small Kraków studio in Lesser Poland. He is 71 now. He has painted perhaps 4,000 of them over his life, each one a full day at the brush, sometimes 2, and there is no apprentice to take it up. Rather than let his last museum-grade pieces sit, he is clearing them out one at a time, exactly as they were painted.
